Graduate Students

March 12, 2008 - Vancouver, BC, Canada

Aiming to further bolster enrollment and support for transportation engineering
programs, Transoft Solutions, developers of AutoTURN - the dynamically powerful
engineering design software used by thousands of designers in over 120 countries -
today announce the formation of the John F. Morrall Scholarship in Transportation
Engineering.

Named for one of the University of Calgary's most popular professors, the John F.
Morrall Scholarship was created by Milton Carrasco, Transoft Solutions CEO and
President, as an acknowledgement for Morrall's lifelong commitment to transportation
engineering, education, and his student's potential.

"I wanted to show my appreciation for John [Morrall] and what he means to me via
this scholarship now. I think the norm of recognizing the accomplishments and
service of high achievers after they have passed away is ludicrous." Carrasco added,
"Transoft Solutions may not have existed if not for John's support and persuasion to
forged ahead and complete my Masters degree. Had it not been for John\'s support, I
would have not completed my Masters program and the development of the AutoTURN
software may not have happened!\"

This new scholarship will be open to graduate students who enrolled in full-time
thesis based and studying Transportation Engineering at the University of Calgary's
Schulich School of Engineering. Academic criteria for eligibility and candidate
selection will be conducted by panel decided upon by the University of Calgary. To
be considered eligible, applicants must submit a proposal which describes how their
research in highway will add to the transportation engineering knowledge base.

Further details about the John F. Morrall Scholarship, including detailed
application instructions and deadlines, will be available soon through the
University of Calgary's Schulich School of Engineering website
www.schulich.ucalgary.ca.
